Michael and Olivia’s wedding day was a dream! Olivia had told me her theme was ‘winter wonderland’ and with a December wedding in Michigan I figured she’d have a winter wonderland scene! Michigan weather is not so easily predicted though! The week leading up to her wedding everything was bare and brown still. I think Olivia and I were both praying for just a *little* snow.
The night before the wedding a storm rolled in and we got snow! I’m not talking about the dusting of snow we’d been hoping for. We got inches of heavy, wet snow! Were the roads terrible? Yes. A few people arrived late but everyone was able to get to the church slowly and safely! When I got there, it looked absolutely magical! Everything was covered in a layer of sparkling snow. We couldn’t have had a better winter wonderland!
Michael and Olivia are truly the sweetest pair you could ever hope to meet. Their families and bridal party were bursting with excitement for them and had so much fun through the day! I was SO happy these two got the dreamy winter wedding they had been hoping for!! Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Lakes!
