Chris and Nicole’s January engagement session was my first of 2021, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to a new year! Nicole found me through my instagram page. She was in Canada at the time, and looking for someone to shoot an engagement session for her in Michigan when she was in town to visit her fiancee, Chris. He lives in Grand Rapids, and I’ve been really eager to shoot an engagement session there, so we made plans to meet at the blue bridge downtown!
When the day of their session came around, we had SUN! Sun on a Michigan winter day can be a rarity! Meeting these two in person for the first time, it was easy to see they balance each other perfectly. They are SO sweet together! They met in Florida while they were both traveling, and kept in touch despite many miles and a border between them. 2020 and Covid made a long distance relationship even trickier, but they’ve powered through with a love stronger than ever!
